OK-ish
Theres something odd about the way this is milled which means it has an odd flavour & I found it did not combine as well as the brand I usually use. I would buy if nothing else is available as its not the worst I have tried. Also, its very expensive compared to other brands.
Fine Mill
This is a fine mill chickpea flour that is ideal for mixing 1:1 with potato starch flour and eggs with milk to make batter for frying, or pancakes etc. My last box was not so strongly flavoured as some cheaper brands I have bought, and that is what I like. It is very much more expensive as it is only 250 grams per box but as I only cook for one or two that is not a problem for me as I don't get through the larger bags before they go off.
Really?
I stupidly did not check the weight of this, it is a tiddly little box not worth the packaging and useless for most baking - Barts, really? Avoid.
Great for chickpea omelette
Just adding 1/4 cup chickpea flour and 1/3 cup water
Inconsistent
I use gram flour to make pizza bases - I have used this several times because my regular one isn't available. Sometimes it is far too dense (despite weighing the same) and makes balancing the quantity with the liquid difficult.
