Carthy & Black Rhubarb Gin Cream Liqueur is a taste of the unexpected. First, we blend the silkiest cream with the finest Slingsby Gin. Then we ingeniously introduce sweet, caramelised rhubarb notes which develop a mouth-wateringly tart finish. Served straight or draped over ice, Carthy & Black is as delectable as it is different.

very Sweet

This tastes as though someone has blended a bag of rhubarb and custard sweets with a teaspoon of alcohol. The taste is pleasant but unfortunately Its cloyingly sickly sweet, like a childrens medicine. If you have a very, very sweet tooth you might love it.

looks and tastes like pepto bismol

Surprisingly thin - not a creamy texture like Baileys - and bright pink, this looks like pepto bismol antacid medicine and tastes not dissimilar. Although this induces indigestion rather than soothes it

So glad I tried this!

I saw this when browsing rhubarb gin and wasnt really sure how well gin, rhubarb and cream would go together. However I was suitably intrigued so for just £12 I thought it was worth a punt. I have to say I am absolutely delighted I gave it a go, it really does work - its just delicious! This is going to become a firm favourite and a regular in my shopping basket!
