Bland
It doesn't taste of much. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either. The other Chicago Town pizzas are better.
Nice, slightly different budget pizza
I really like these, provided they are seasoned with a bit of salt and a hefty grind of pepper, otherwise they can be a bit bland.
wont buy again
Bought these because I liked the previous cheeseburger recipe pizzas and this was closest of new flavours . Sadly v disappointing - creamy topping under the cheese was bland . Negligible meat . Wont buy again
horrible
tastes horrible.. wouldn't even try it.
Not great
I should have trusted the reviews. Not very cheesy in fact it like they've used cheese sauce rather then cheese. The meat is a joke & all in all a waste of calories. Definitely won't be buying it again
Not peppery enough\- rather bland!
Firstly, the pizza did not cook properly, even though the on-pack instructions were followed. The cheese did not brown and remained a pale, unappetising colour, whilst the edges of the crust became hard and the centre became soggy. Tastewise, the pizza was very bland. The black pepper crust was a big part of what drew me to this product, but the taste of black pepper was barely there. Admittedly, the flavour did build slightly as I ate more of it, but it was still nowhere near as strong as it should be, given that this is part of the premium ‘Ultimate’ range and the crust is called out as specially flavoured. At first glance, I was dubious about the ratio of crust to toppings, as the base was relatively very thick, but the proportions actually worked well and there seemed to be a lot of cheese sauce. However, this sauce was very bland, though the mozzarella on top helped to bring out the cheesy flavour. The beef and vegetables were of a decent enough quality for a frozen pizza and were well distributed. I added my own black pepper and salt, which bolstered the flavours and made the pizza tastier. Overall, I was underwhelmed and somewhat disappointed with this product as it came, but it was enjoyable enough once I had modified the seasoning. I will eat the second of the pizzas in the pack, though I am not likely to buy again and am not sure that I would actively recommend the product in its current form. However, it may be more highly regarded by those who prefer milder flavours.
