Tasty and wholesome
I am vegetarian and love a good roast dinner. Roasted root veggies are a given, as are a variety of green veg. The meat replacement or protein element has always been flexible, but I find that this nut roast is a very good option (haven't found a way to roast tofu nicely and the Quorn and Linda Mc options are highly processed). Okay, so it's a bit dry and crumbly but I find it very tasty, especially with a nice veggie gravy.
crunchy but no flavour
I was so disappointed with this but roast. It was certainly crunchy with nuts but somehow it was devoid of all flavour.
Bean Roast not a Nut Roast
So many flavours and so little of them nut. In the whole roast, my husband and I found 2 nuts and they were whole. There's no nutty texture and so many conflicting flavours. 0/10 the worst nut roast I've ever had.
Great Nut Roast
I've tried so many nut roasts and this one is the best if you don't have time to make one yourself. The portion size is fine as it's part of a roast dinner.
Fantastic quality
My husband loves this. It's packed full of really good quality nuts and doesn't rely on cheap fillers and cheaper nuts like peanuts which we can't have in the house because of my peanut allergy. It's not an all inn one meal to have on its own but is a great favourite served with vegetables and roasties. Expensive but quality nuts are....
wish I\x27d taken heed of the bad reviews
thought this would be nice because of the price but no, plus there was a weird stringy bit in mine :/
