The grapes for this wine were picked from exclusive family vineyards, before being pressed and expertly blended to create this fantastic wine.

Nasty stuff

As a previous reviewer has alluded to, I think Ocado need to head hunt Aldis wine buyers to procure reasonably priced wine thats actually worth drinking instead of this cheap & nasty swill.

Did someone dilute this with water?

So confused by what I recieved.. it is so watery.. it tastes like 1 part wine to 2 water! The is the latest of a series of wines I have opened on delivery that have been horrific. How is Ocado storing these wines ?

Don't buy

Bought as on offer...but definitely not a good choice....a very weird metalic ,burnt smell and taste...might have to do with the fact it's imported in huge metalic vats and bottled in the UK. If you're after a good Zinfandel go for the 1000 Stories on Ocado - more expensive but you get a wine u can drink.If you manage to go to Aldi's, go for the Grande Alberone Zinfandel, the best and chepest Zinfandel on the UK market.

Pleasant Surprise

This packs a punch. If you like 'dead 'ard' big meaty reds you'll adore this. Superb value on offer and would recommend picking up a case.

Wonderful

A delicious example of a Californian Zinfandel, a good replacement for the Gallo which I can no longer find. A deep, fruity rich red without a tannin aftertaste which is a huge bonus for me
