Brand
Quinine, the essential ingredient of tonic water, was first discovered in 17th Century South America as a cure for malaria. By the mid 19th Century quinine was traded worldwide and it was the colonial British in India who added sugar and fizzy water to make it more palatable and called it "tonic water". And then someone added Gin.
The rest is history.

nice
Nice, but quite a pronounced cucumber flavour. Would prefer it to be more subtle.
Nice if not overpowering
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I thought the cucumber and mint flavour of this was a little too much at first but it’s grown on me! I think this would be okay with a standard gin, but probably not suitable for any of your craft or delicately flavoured gins, as the botanicals are quite pronounced. I occasionally enjoy a tonic on its own though and this is nice for that. I don’t think I would buy this though.
okay
I was sent this to sample. It wasn't a flavour that I would buy again, but it was pleasant enough
Cucumber tonic by another name
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. If you like cucumber or it goes with your particular gin selection then you’ll get on with this. However we both found the cucumber/mint taste a little overpowering and wouldn’t choose this tonic again. We tried it with and without gin, so is ok and refreshing just not to personal taste.
Excellent!
Sent to try and leave a review. Mixed with Hendricks - perfect accompaniment with subtle cucumber and mint. Would buy again.
Refreshing and delicate
Ocado sent this to me free of charge to review. It had a nice taste, not at all bitter. Tried it as a mixer and on its own and it was good as both. Will certainly buy again as a replacement for my usual brand.
