tasty, Bit underweight
Great tasting moist chicken, mine was 1.7kg
Great but size can vary enormously
Love this chicken, it's always very moist with a delicious flavour. I would give it five stars but for the variation in sizes. They are 'typically' 2kg but I can't remember the last time I received a 2kg bird. The two ordered this week arrived at 1.78kg and a tiny 1.02kg one which is nowhere near 2 kg. Was charged the same price for both so not terribly impressed by that either.
Gorgeous.
This was one of the best roast chickens I've had in a long, long time. As other reviews comment, don't salt it as it's brined. I added a lemon, halved, inside and it cooked wonderfully. Yes, it is a little salty, but really not that bad (though if I had added salt.....) It's tender, flavoursome, moist, and has a surprising amount of meat. Full price? Not sure. Flash sale or other significant discount? Bargain.

Absolutely delicious! What a juicy and tasteful chicken, worth every penny. Will defo buy it again. No need to season, just put olive oil, potatoes and dinner is served!
different and very nice
Being brined it needs treating differently eg dont salt it, but this makes it very tender ( bit salty in parts but I dont mind that). Remember the giblets are in the body cavity ( not in a plastic bag). Toms of meat although bird can look small. Often to be found on sale and a bargain
Fabulous chicken
Okay facts... it's shrink wrapped so when you open the packaging there is a smell. It's brined so do not salt it. The wingtips and neck are in the cavity. I just added 1 lemon and roasted - it was delicious and I will buy again
