Gioiella Rich Ricotta Hearts
- A naturally sweet, creamy textured fresh cheese.
- Made in small batches at the Caseificio Fratelli Capurso dairy in Gioia del Colle.
- Ricotta, literally translating to 're-cooked' in Italian, is usually made from the water left over from mozzarella production. This version is made with cows milk, creating an incredibly rich ricotta with a much more intense flavour.
- The milk comes from native brown cows that graze semi-wild across the Itria Valley, Apulia.

Very nice ricotta
Probably one of the best you can easily find in the UK. Ricotta cheese doesn't taste so much different from another, but this one is slightly nicer than normal ones.
makes a great desert
Have bought these several times and love them. Add some poached cherries or other fruit for a lovely dessert.
Lovely ricotta
Really lovely creamy ricotta, far superior flavour and texture to the others however it is very expensive. I therefore would only buy on offer or flash sale. Three cute little hearts.

I buy these as a treat for my elderly Sicilian mother in law who misses the real thing in Sicily. She is extremely fussy but loves them!
Great flavour and consistency
This ricotta hearts are very tasty indeed. I find their consistency just right, not to soft, not too hard. I have them with some pitta bread and salad. Perfect!
