More like Brie
I was disappointed with this, none of the soft, creamy ooze that often comes with these. Not even much of a smell. Nice enough if you wanted a Brie, but not really a good example of what can be a fabulous cheese
Excellent.
Firstly, for those complaining about the white fluffy mould... that's EXACTLY how it should be! Just scrape it off with the back of a knife if it offends you. Would you complain about mould on a Stilton? As for the cheese itself, it was a little under-ripe when purchased, but after being left in a pantry cupboard a few days, the smell told me it was ready to be consumed. Lovely with a Maison Sassy cider (my favourite combination, though a strong red wine would go well, too). Shall order again as it reminds me of holidays with my French grandparents in the late 60s and 70s.
Fairly bland cheese
Really didnt rate this at all. Not a great taste, thick rubbery rid, nothing positive I can say about it really.
Very good French cheese
I am a bit surprised about the negative comments. The cheese was as good as I remember it from my holidays in Normandy. Very nice flavour and different from the usual camembert or brie. Will buy it again!
great cheese
Lovely change from Brie, full of great flavour must be left out to warm through imo lovely and creamy
Great
As a lover of stinky cheese you cant get much better than this, stronger flavour than camembert and thicker skinned but great with robust red
