Decent mash

Received free, just got around to using. Not usually a fan of instant mash, but this was quite smooth and creamy. Did use to top a cottage pie, but worked a treat, never used instant mash for that purpose before. Definitely would use again.

Nope

Received this free with an order. Sorry but this is absolutely revolting. Smelt terrible when mixing.. My old dog used to make those smells if you know what I mean. Tasted no better. Weird mix of coconut and wall paper paste. The old fashioned one with the laughing alien robots was better than this.

I don't often follow instructions on packet mixes but with this I did. BIG mistake - WAY too runny! Would have needed to eat it with a spoon, it would've dripped through a fork. Thankfully, I had a packet of a different make in the cupboard & tipped some into this to thicken it up. Should never have taken any notice of direction to tip it into water - always far safer the other way around.

Just ok!

Received this as a free sample from Ocado, I was looking forward to trying it as part of a quick and easy dinner, easy to make and looked nice however taste wasn’t great, couldn’t finish my serving as it had a weird aftertaste, it’s ok if your in a hurry but I would stick to microwave mash or making your own proper mash

Received as a free gift

Never used instant mash before so we used it to top a homemade fish pie. We really liked it. For a topping it spread well, crisped up beautifully on top and tasted good. We will buy it again for this purpose.

not great

this was a free gift from ocado. it was quick and easy to make and smooth mash but had a very coconutty taste which was overpowering for me. i would not buy this product
