These are awful!
I bought these for the first time this week purely because they were smaller than the ones I normally buy! Trying to cut down on size of meals. What a mistake! Where is the fish? The batter was so thick and there was a a tiny piece of fish buried in it. Will never buy this again and so surprised M&S allows this to be sold under their name!

smaller than picture
This fish was juicy with a crisp coating, but the fish took up less space in the package compared to the picture. Very small, but I understand its sold by weight so mine must have been thicker than that shown

I can't understand the reviews being so bad. These are the nicest tasting premade battered cod you can buy. Let's not pretend that the fish and chip shops don't also have huge amounts of batter, it would probably be better to just not buy battered at all in that case. These were bought on a flash sale twice now, for £1.90 a pack and haven't disappointed. Accompanied by homemade crispy chips, and Harry Ramsdens mushy pea's stocked on Ocado.
No. not good
Sorry M&S, bad batch maybe but as per last 2 x reviewers batter so thick!! We ended up picking the fish out and binning the batter. Defeats the point of a battered fish dinner. Pllease fix it or remove from shelves.
