Flaccid texture fishy taste
Bought on a flash sale. Disappointing, flaccid soggy texture, tastes overwhelmingly fishy. Won’t ne buying again, much better quality loin of haddock to be bought elsewhere.
Really beautiful, fresh and clean tasting
This fish was really lovely and worth every penny. I ate it with rice, gigantes beans, mopping up the sauce juices with sun dried toms sourdough & butter and my goodness, can’t stop thinking about it. Thank you M&S.
Delicate
10 Minutes in the oven, olive oil and seasoned, really flaky and tasty, a nice light evening meal with some quinoa, spinach and beets.
Hit and miss
I ordered two packs of these on flash sale. The fish in one pack weighed 181g and one piece looked like it had been mauled. The other pack weighed 370g! They were used to feed a family of 4; glad I didn't just receive the sparse pack to feed just 2 of us! I cut them into small pieces, coated them with flour, paprika etc and lightly fried them. They were tasty and I would repurchase if on offer. £14.62 is a lot of money for a midweek meal!
amazing
I did use on day of delivery. but beautiful poached
Smells of Ammonia
On opening the fish had a terrible smell and was soft in texture with a horrible smelling liquid left in the packaging. I decided to cook the fish, shallow fried but this was a mistake. My dinner was ruined by a strong ammonia smelling fish. All thrown away and I would not recommend to anyone.
