Didn\x27t ripen well

The last lot of these were close to perfect but this lot, although looking good, were a bit hard and had tuned mushy on the outside before ripening satisfactorily. Gone are the days, 30 to 40 years ago when every piece of fruit from M and S was perfect - ripe, juicy and tasty.

So sweet!

We have purchased these strawberries for the last 3 weeks and each and every punnet has been delicious. This weeks punnet was from a different grower than the last two, from West Sussex, but they were equally as sweet, tender and delicious. Highly recommended.

Worth the wait

I never buy imported strawberries out of season as they dont taste of anything. But these little beauties are exactly what a strawberry should be. Tasty, juicy, huge. What summer was made for and worth the wait.

Outstanding, glorious!

These British strawberries are glorious! They have an exquisite deep, full sweet flavour and lovely firm, juicy, succulent texture - the depth of flavour and texture is outstanding. Consistently fresh with a beautiful deep, vibrant bright red colour. Like any fresh produce they vary according to weather conditions, season, supplier - at the moment they are glorious!
