A beautiful fresh wine

So pleased I tried this wine. Its the first time Ive tried Sancerre and I am finding it is a beautiful crisp fresh light wine which is perfect with seafood, fish and cheese. I have ordered it again. If you like Chablis and Sauvignon Blanc you will enjoy this wine.

Very good

Very good. Pronounced nose of citrus and green fruit (lime, lemon, apple, gooseberry), blossom, grass, wet pebbles (like walking through a spring water stream!) and a subtle yet distinct note of fennel right at the end. Matching intensity on the palate with vivid herbaceous flavours that balance well with the high acidity and medium alcohol. Medium finish with more herbs and wet pebbles. Dry, medium(-) body. Can be enjoyed on its own or with steamed lemon-herb fish.
