Tastes nice but is very watery and weak
At the time of writing none of the other 'reviews' actually review the product. So, a review - the taste is spot on, it reminds me in flavour of coffee-flavoured desserts my mum used to make, coffee and walnut cakes, and coffee-soaked sponge fingers in tiramisu. However the taste is not very strong which isnt surprising given that the bottle is mostly water as the primary ingredient, and it does seem to have been watered down unnecessarily. This makes it fairly poor value since you have to use a large amount to get enough flavour - it suggests that 5ml (10 percent of the bottle) is equivalent to a teaspoon of espresso powder. I'd suggest that its less than half that strength, and if you are baking in any quantity you're going to pretty much want to dump the whole bottle in if you want anything other than a very mild flavour. It seems to evaporate quickly, losing both scent and flavour relatively quickly once added to other ingredients. I would probably not buy again, just making a few shots of espresso and using that instead - it would be cheaper and stronger flavoured.
