Oatly Oat Drink Semi Long Life 1L
Product information
What’s Amazing
What's not amazing? This is the new and improved version of the first oat drink ever invented so, it's a pretty optimal option for everyday use because it performs like cow's milk but has that plant-based creaminess vibe from oats. There's no added sugar whatsoever, instead it has been fortified with vitamins (D, riboflavin, B12) and calcium and includes 1.5% fat from rapeseed and oats.
If you've been buying this product since forever and wonder what's so new and improved about it, it's that it now works in your coffee, your tea and performs even better when cooking or baking.
What might be less amazing
Unless you don't have strong principles against acidity regulators like the one that helps this product perform just like cow's milk, then nothing is less amazing. On that note, you can be sure there is nothing in this product that isn't absolutely necessary or absolutely approved for consumption. Everything is plant-based and made carefully with you and the planet you live on in mind. Maybe we should have put that up under "What's amazing."
Last but not least
No dairy, no soy, no nuts, no wordy packaging sides. Okay, scratch that last “no” but we think this drink is just about perfect.

Preparation and Usage
Help! How do I use this product???
Try putting it in your pancakes, puddings, mashed potatoes, smoothies, coffees, cereals, porridges, lasagnas, knödels, cinnamon rolls, toad in the holes, milk-shakes or any of those other items the dairy industry so graciously got us to love. In fact, you can use it exactly like you would have used cow's milk when and if you were into cow's milk back in the day.

tastes good but not for hot drinks
Tastes really good but you really need the Barista milk as well for hot drinks as unlike other brands this curdled every time. This is disappointing as I dont use enough to need two cartons opened at the same time
The best
Been using Oatly for the past months for my morning porridge and it is perfect! Would like to have a bulk size as we are consuming it so fast at home
not sure about this
this is ok but my porrige has turned out lumpy every time with it instead of smooth and creamy. looks like will need to look for another brand.. great shame really loved oatly so nice and so tasty before it was changed.
New product. Not the original oatly
This Semi Oatly has an acidity regulator added, and isn’t the almost identical looking original Oatly. I feel it’s a little misleading not to have labelled it as a new product. Will re-review when I have fully tested it for different uses. Update: I only sussed this product had changed when my porridge kept burning on the bottom of the pan. This hasn’t happened before over the many years I’ve been using Oatly. It’s very frustrating. I don’t drink coffee, so don’t benefit from the acidity regulator that have added. Will have to investigate other options, but am hugely disappointed as I loved the creamy porridge it used to make without standing over it stirring constantly.
another good oatly
very good product: it foams quite well, it has less calories than barista and more practical than the "keep cool" version. At 1.60£ launch offer it compares greatly on price too.
