Thank You for Choosing Our Peanut Butter
We slowly roast our peanuts in small batches in our Yorkshire factory and then carefully grind them until they naturally attain a smunchy texture.
That's all! Our peanut butter is made in the traditional way, so we decided to call it Proper Nutty.
We hope you enjoy it.

Not quite smooth, not quite crunchy. We like to call it smunchy!

What happened? Horrible

I have been buying this regularly for a long time. It was the best - perfect schmunchy texture, great flavour and no added salt. I got my first rebranded tin and thought Id received an off batch, it was so bad. But looking at others reviews I see the same opinions. Its an awful runny texture throughout (not just where the oil has separated), a horrible insipid beige colour, no schmunchy bits and no flavour. Absolutely horrible. I wont be buying this again.

Love the flavor, hate the package

Honestly it's packaged like a paint tin! I do love the flavor (to me, in the UK the most like American Adams PB) but but but they put it in a tin that requires a pry to open and...you know how you close a metal pain tin...with some difficulty. I'll keep buying it but I DO NOT LIKE THE PACKAGING. What in the world were they thinking? Seriously...

used to be the best and it is disgusting now

I dont understand what happened. I got my first rebranded tin and its awful, it used to be the best and now its the worst peanut butter we I have ever tried.

Used to be the best

Before the recipe changed I would have given this product 5 stars and highly recommended it to my friends but now it is just too runny, tasteless and too smooth. Not smunchy! I will not be buying again. I have a whole tin to eat! Sadly I will be changing brands.

It used to be so good

I have buying this for years. It was so good, we got through a whole tin a week. The perfect texture. Ive now had my first new dark-green tins delivered and I dont know whats happened to the texture! Whereas it used to be chunky, its now super runny as others had said. Clearly Kev is no longer making this his name is no longer on the BBE label on the tins.
