Crafted from grapes grown in cool vineyards with chalky soils, this Chardonnay has aromas of ripe quince and citrus. A part is aged in French oak, bringing texture and a touch of spice.

History
Curated by the team at Waddesdon Wine Rothschild Collection, these Pays d'Oc wines launched in 2021 are a stunning example of the extraordinary wines produced in the South of France.
Regional Information
The vineyard is located on the border of Étang de Thau, well-known to be one of the coolest of the Languedoc. Chalky and sandy soils.

Vinification Details
Harvested early in the morning to keep the freshness of the grapes. Fermentation at 16°c after a clean racking of the must. Maturing in tank on fine lees for two months then 15% of the wine is matured in French oak.

Delicious but pricey

We'd only tried this wine because of it being on special offer. Although it's so delicious that I'm glad that we tried it, we probably won't be buying it again at the full price.
