perf
go to miso paste, loves it, my mum thought it was peanut butter almost though so
Great for miso soup
It is more delicate than other misos, and you might need more to get the soup to your taste. So, whilst it is often cheaper to purchase than others, it might be a false economy to just look at the purchase price.
Delicate taste miso
Great for ramen noodles and also miso soup with silken tofu
versatile
buy regularly. great in marinades. good umami flavour. long shelf life.
Lovely and salty
This tastes as good as the more expensive versions of white miso paste and has a really nice salty, umami kick. Has a long shelf life too. Nothing to complain about
Recommended
I always have one of these in my fridge as it is so handy as an ingredient to add to oriental dishes. I also make a homemade vegan cheese from cashews and add this miso to the recipe which gives my cheese a mature, sharp taste. It is such a versatile ingredient to have and I wouldn’t be without it.
