San Pellegrino Oakwood Tonic Water Glass 4 x 200ml
£3.70
46.3p per 100mlProduct information
The oakwood extract gives an entirely new taste sensation thanks to its distinctive bitter first notes.
Characteristically unique and versatile, emphasising elegant notes thanks to its fine and persistent bubbles, without masking the flavour of the cocktail.
Hints of oak bark and quinine open a wonderfully complex flavour profile that expertly balances bitter and sweet nuances. Signature Cocktail suggested: Premium Gin + licorice + ice and wood essence, garnish with a lemon peel. Other botanicals to enhance the drinking experience: Black pepper + cucumber + celery.

Good tonic
Im reviewing this product because I received a free sample from Ocado. Couldn't get the oak bark flavour but would definitely buy again. pleasant tonic.
Very nice w much better than Fever Tree
Got these to try had a £1 off offer. Lovely taste very lightly smokey but not really noticeable if it weren't for the name. no aftertaste and doesn't spoil the gin flavour. could be my new tonic.
interesting but very bitter, woody tonic
I first drank this with a very aromatic, strongly flavoured gin and it didn't work at all - much too bitter. I tried it with classic (juniper) and sweet more citrus gins and it was much better. I would reservedly recommend depending on what gin it's mixed with - in my opinion it wouldn't work with anything too aromatic or spiced.
reviewing as had a voucher
Didnt like the taste of this but each to there own
Grown up soft drink
Received a voucher for this tonic water, but it’s become a firm favourite. - it has a subtle, delicious flavour. I haven’t tried it as a mixer yet - it’s too good on its own.
Worth a try
Im reviewing this product because I got a free coupon from Ocado. This is a really interesting variation on your usual tonic waters. The oak isn't overpowering but it's quite pronounced. Makes the drink feel a bit sweeter and maybe this doesn't work quite as well with some gins.
