Preparation and Usage
- Always perform an allergy alert test 48 hours prior to colouring
- For long or thick hair we recommended using two packs
- This shade is recommended for hair colours light brown to dark brown
- Results may vary on previously coloured hair
- Use a clarifying/deep cleanse shampoo 48 hours prior to application.
- Check application range to ensure your natural hair is suitable for your chosen shade
1. Preparation:
- Always perform an Allergy Alert Test 48 hours before each time you colour, even if you've used the product before
- Before applying your colour, cover your clothing with an old towel/cape and put on gloves provided
- Apply to dry, unwashed hair
2. Mixing:
- Unscrew nozzle of Developer Lotion, pierce the LIVE Colour Cream tube and carefully squeeze the entire contents into the Developer Lotion bottle.
- Replace the application nozzle and shake until all components are thoroughly mixed.
3. Application:
- Follow application process for either first-time or root regrowth application
- Leave formula to develop for 20-30 minutes
4. Rinsing:
- Rinse hair under warm water until water runs clear
5. Conditioning:
- Apply LIVE Care Conditioner and leave in for 2 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly, hair is left feeling soft and shiny
The colour result will depend on your natural hair colour. The table on the back of the pack provides an indication of the colour result that can be obtained with this shade. Results may vary on previously coloured hair. For long or thick hair we recommend using two packs.

Lovely proper red, no orange or purple tones
I have a buzz cut which means cutting my hair every two weeks, that means I can also change my hair colour very often. Ive recently been working my way though different shades of red and this is my favourite so far. I applied it over a light copper colour and was expecting a lot of orange tones but it actually came out a lovely deep red. It looks a brighter red in the sun and still looks red in darker lighting, which I love because a lot of reds end up looking brown in dim light. The best thing about it is that is really is a true red, no orange or purple tones. I think if I applied it over my natural light brown hair colour it would look very close to the lightest shade shown in the colour guide on the box. It didnt dry my hair out too much, which was surprising given that I was applying it over another colour that was itself over bleached hair. No irritation either, which Is fantastic as I have a sensitive scalp and some dyes do irritate me.
Washed out very quickly
I have used this before and the colour was vibrant and lasted for quite some time. I don't know if they changed something, but the colour was dull from the start and washed out very quickly, leaving red stains on the towel each time I showered - I do not use shampoo each time I shower, once or twice a week usually, so that was not the cause. Not impressed
My Friend was delighted
Had to get my friend to test this for me as she does use red hair colourant. The colour was good, easy to use and even colour.
Ok on dark brown hair
Without using bleach on my dark hair, it came out as I expected, a tinted n shimmers under natural/light.
Great product and price
This product is so good and the price is so reasonable.
Job done
Had no idea it was for women, but did the job in getting rid of my grey.
