not as hot as expected
No bad thing as I always overdo chilli, it was very tasty, used it for a venison curry in place of the recommended madras Ton Kerridge)
Simple to use
Made a delicious paneer curry in my slow cooker. Used 4 tbsps paste, a block of paneer, tin chopped tomatoes and added some peas. Cooked for 3 hours medium heat. Paneer was soft and the sauce wonderful. I ate with some kefir. Couldn’t be bothered to cook rice and no Indian breads in the house so had a Warburtons pitta with it. I’m not keen on Cumin and this paste isn’t overpowered with cumin unlike many other pastes. Want to order another jar but out of stock. Not surprised.
Acidic
Not for me, found it too acidic.
love this stuff
Wonderful and full of spices. Not oily. Good amount of kick depending on how much you add. Used this for years and always buy for convenience and flavour.
