Street Kitchen Japanese Teriyaki 255g
Product information
The flavours and foods of Japan seem to be so simple that you could be forgiven for thinking that just about anyone could throw a bento box together. Yet like most things in Japan; simple, elegant and delicate takes knowledge and skills; and then a whole lot of understanding about the relationship between food, nature and the ever-unfolding seasons.
What becomes apparent over time is none of this is serendipitous; food styling and presentation, complementary flavors and textures come together beautifully, served in small and assorted bowls and plates. And there is always enough - always!
Piqued your interest? How better to satisfy that, but to start with your own style of Teriyaki served with a bowl of fragrant rice and a side of sweet Asian pickles. Just take a leaf from the Japanese and cook with joy.

too much ginger and acid in the soya sauce
I was so excited to find this but this is far away from the teriyaki of Japanese foods . If they did not say the nation name it would be ok as a different unique fusion food. For me I found this far too much strong gingers in . Spicy and strong tastes . I didnt find this sweet either and I expected to be actually sweeter . The soy sauce has got acidic taste and not Japanese flavours. They do different things. I didnt feel sake either much with sugar . The idea was nice to get all easy ingredients in but this is not a teriyaki of Japan as others said . If I have this as teriyaki of Asia or uk , I can be prepared a bit more to enjoy this possibly. The amount is so generous, I have plenty left for a couple of days.
wont be sleeping after this
This is sooo sweet I dont think Ill sleep for a few days now. Disappointing. Had to chuckle at the comment below about not having chicken in it and it needs heating up though
not teriyaki
Really disliked this, bitter and acidic, had to throw away.
Excellent
Quick and easy recipe. Very tasty and will be buying again. Not too sweet as some reviews suggest.
Too sweet
Cloyingly sweet. Is there a reason all these ready made sauces contain SO much sugar? It was all I could taste. Might be nice as a dessert topping but the chicken would have been nicer without it.
No Chicken and Needs to be Heated Up
Title states chicken, there was no chicken in the product. Description states “no heat” but one has to heat the ingredients.
