The Godfather Tomato and Meatballs Pasta Sauce 490g
£3
61.2p per 100gProduct information
Straight from the iconic film to your dinner tables, this new limited-edition pasta sauce features the exact ingredients named in the film by Peter “leave the gun, take the cannoli” Clemenza as he teaches Michael Corleone how to cook the perfect pasta sauce.
But how did we do it? Well, you take some good sun-ripened tomatoes – grown by the Heinz tomato masters in Italy, of course. They’re the best. Then, just like Clemenza, you put them in a pot with a little bit of olive oil and garlic, shove in some high-quality meatballs, some sausage. Add salt and pepper to taste. That’s it!
Available in Heinz’s bigger 490g jars, there’s enough to feed the whole family. Because you never know, you might have to cook for 20 guys someday. And if you do, then just get it in the kitchen, and splash some sauce all over your pasta (not over your nice suit).
"Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, Saturday". Perfect for eating any day you fancy.

delicious and healthy
Really nice sauce. The meatballs were weirdly tiny, but tasty.
It’s not personal, Sonny. It’s strictly business.
The ingredients in this sauce are good, the strong fennel taste is pleasant but I thought the mini meatballs had an odd taste and texture. I'd eat it again but avoid the meatballs.
Made my taste buds an offer they couldnt refuse
I really enjoyed the sauce. Nice flavoured thick sauce. Not overpowering. Includes mini meatballs too which are tasty. Only need to add spaghetti or linguine like I did, with salt and pepper to taste. Will definitely be ordering more.
Not nice
Didnt read the description of this sauce properly before I purchased. Thought it said to serve it with meatballs, not that it had meatballs in it! Made some lovely homemade pork and beef meatballs only for them to be spoiled when I poured over this sauce! It had tiny little meatballs in that taste like the kind of cheap, nasty meat you get in a tin of spaghetti and sausages. Ruined our dinner and I wouldnt buy this again. Overpriced for what it is.
