Our decaffeinated blend
In 1831 we created Earl Grey tea in our shop on the Strand on the request of the Prime Minister. He loved it so much he gave his name to it. Before long it had taken London by storm and it is still a firm favourite today. Our decaffeinated blend is no different.

A delicate tea with a delicious twist of citrusy Bergamot, that can be enjoyed all day long.

Very decent tea

For me Twinings Earl Grey is the only Earl Grey worth drinking, and whilst the decaf version doesnt have the same taste profile as the regular, I thought it was pretty decent as decaf teas go. Dont expect it to taste the same as the caffeinated version, but it is certainly the best of the decaffeinated.

New blend is no good

Like other reviewers weve noticed the blend has changed, resulting in a taste which is nothing like Earl Grey - it may as well be builders tea. Have religiously drunk Twinings Earl Grey for years and years, and were now looking for a new brand.

Much too strong

The new blend is dreadful. I echo all the other disappointed reviewers; the tea is much too strong (more like builders brew), and no discernible Earl Grey flavour. I too am now searching for another brand, having been a Twinings purchaser for years.
