Be warned..
Simply one of the best peppermint tea i've ever had with one glaring fault being the design of the tea bag/teabag string & tag. The string/tag is glued to the teabag and because the teabag is made from very thin paper even when you take your time trying to unattach the string from the teabag it still results in you damaging the teabag rendering the teabag useless. This happens so frequentlythat i sometimes find myself screaming and no matter how good a tea it is and others in this range are, i'm never buying any of them again unless the design is changed to something less frustrating...
Interesting flavour combination
This is a nice change to plain peppermint, with the strawberry flavour being subtle, but the fruity kick is pleasant. The black peppercorn I do wish had been left out though. Once I got down to the bottom of my cup, it began to burn and was too hot for me. Also I contacted Twinings about what was in their natural flavours, as I'm sensitive to many things. They confirmed that there is citric acid in these and also stevia. I'll have to avoid these in future, as I have endocrine/hormonal problems and stevia has been shown to alter hormones. So if you have hormonal issues, especially if female, please read a bit more into stevia. I do wish Twinings would have been more honest and just list it on the ingridents, rather then people having to go to them and ask, as there are people that need to avoid certain things.
Delicious
We tried all of the new twinnings herb teas, and this was my partner’s favourite. He didn’t even notice there was pepper in this at first, so it was hardly overwhelming. The fruit with the peppermint flavour smells great and blends nicely.
Bad batch \- packaging error
These smell absolutely amazing and I really wanted to try the drink however this pack seems to be a bad batch and when you detach the teabag from the handle to make the drink it creates a hole in the tea bag every single time and your tea fills with the contents. They smell so lovely though that I will purchase again and hope for the best.
Not bad
Compared to the pineapple and lychee ones which were awful and I threw away!! These were quite refreshing. It's quite subtle, minty and peppery which I'd say was a nice taste combo
Lovely and refreshing
Really tasty, fresh tasting tea with subtle pepper kick
