Best Tarte Flambé we\x27ve tasted.
We got this on flash and its just perfect texture and taste - best bought in we've tasted. Only snag is its one each really for a meal unless you have it as a starter, but that makes it pricey hence we grabbed a few on flash!
Breakfast treat!
It looked like it would be a bit small for a lunch, so we had it for breakfast and it was delicious. You need a very hot preheated oven and heated baking tray, be a bit careful taking it out the pack as it is quite flimsy.
crisp and tasty
I did not follow the instructions in one regard: I only put my fan oven on at 200 degrees (rather than 250). I put the flambee in for 10 minutes. It was crisp and tasty. Very good.
Soggy mess
Against my better judgement, I followed the instructions to place the tarte directly a preheated tray, when I would have used parchment. It was very difficult to get out of the package, soggy and hard to handle. It stuck to the tray and never cooked properly despite allowing extra time. I tried a piece, greasy. So disappointed.
Really Enjoyed
We ate this for lunch with some salad, very nice flavours and base was not too thick
Not to my liking
I was asked to review this It says for sharing but not that big..I thought it would be like a flatbread but it is more like a pancake..it was quite soft and flimsy getting it in and out of oven..even though it smelled lovely I found it a bit rich..I chose to eat it as a meal like a pizza but I couldnt finish it..not to my liking so I wont buy again..
