Not worth the extra
It’s a decent wine, but no where near worth almost double the ‘entry level’ VM Sauvignon

Best Sauvignon Blanc
This is a beautiful smooth wine with no acidic aftertaste. I find that it keeps its flavour for another 2 days after opening, kept chilled of course. Often take bottles of wine to a wine buff friend who always says thank you but on this occasion raved over the wine and ordered some himself

Exceptional
I generally love all New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs, especially Villa Maria, and I must say this is the best Ive ever had. Absolutely delicious, refreshing, moorish, and gentle on the pallet - no sharpness. Worth spending extra on as a special treat, especially for those who already love other Villa Maria varieties.
