Blog - 2009

We’ve got a rather a reputation for being passionate, maybe even outspoken, about what we do. Not just about making our business (even) greener, but about all the other things we do too, like offering great value, more choice, better service…

Our blog is one way in which we can share our thoughts and opinions with you, and hopefully give you an insight into what makes Ocado tick. We hope you find it interesting, informative… and perhaps even entertaining!

Happy Christmas from Ocado

18th December 2009

It's almost exactly nine years to the day since Ocado started in a temporary office in central London, and at this festive time of the year we wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a bit more about why we do what we do. What’s the next big idea?

OCADOLIFE 10 - June 2009

People sometimes ask us what we love most about our jobs. Get more out of Life

OCADOLIFE 06 - January 2009

The main reason that we started Ocado was to change the face of British shopping. So, as soon as we discovered that British shoppers throw away 30% of all the food they buy (in other words, an incredible £43bn each year), we were determined to do something about it.
