Everyday Selection Terms & Conditions

We flag each “Everyday Selection” product on the website. Each week we compare and match the prices of these products (which includes Ocado Everyday, essential Waitrose and other branded products) to be no more than 5% above the cheaper of the closest equivalent Tesco or Sainsbury’s standard own label products (i.e. not Tesco Value, Sainsbury’s Basics, Tesco Finest or Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference). Price checks are correct at time of weekly comparing and apply to standard retail prices excluding temporary promotions, products pending temporary promotion or any other special offers.

We recheck prices weekly but there could be up to a one day delay between prices being checked and them appearing on our website. Everyday Selection is a range of quality products that are price checked to provide good value, however due to the complexity of comparing prices with competitors we may unintentionally display incorrect prices. If that is pointed out to us we will remedy the position.

The “closest equivalent” is a comparable product of the same size sold by Tesco or Sainsbury. If the closest equivalent is a different size we pro-rata the price to fulfil our promise to provide good value on standard products. If there is no comparable product we do not include it within the Everyday Selection range.
