Kevin Wolf, Stubbins' Cambridgeshire Nursery

In the small village of Fen Drayton, between Cambridge and St Ives, Kevin Wolf is our grower at Stubbins' speciality tomato nursery. He has been growing tomatoes and cucumbers for over 17 years and once had trials for the famous Hull City Football Club. Thankfully for us, he didn't quite make it.

Kevin's expertise keeps his tomato crop flourishing and he is even pioneering different growing methods. So far his introduction of Coir (Coconut fibre) as an alternative to soil has real and proven benefits for root growth and water retention.

Whilst the use of Coir has real potential, Kevin isn't stopping there. He is also overseeing some significant varietal trials at Stubbins' Cambridge nursery, aimed at producing the most delicious-tasting and flavoursome tomatoes for future seasons.
