Chestnut Mushroom, Bacon & Mascarpone Pizza
A hand stretched pizza base, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, sauteed chestnut mushrooms, smoked bacon, mascarpone cheese and parsley.

Inspired by the best pizzerias, we start with a thin, crisp base, oil enriched and stretched by hand. This is covered with a sauce made from crushed tomato and extra virgin olive oil (0.7%), then hand topped with mozzarella, chestnut mushrooms, smoked bacon and mascarpone.

Preheat oven. Remove all packaging including base disc.
Place pizza directly on shelf in centre of oven.

Fatty smell & taste

Normally really like this range of pizzas but this one has an awful smell and taste of fat. The bacon is tasteless and all I could taste was the fat from it. Accidentally ordered it a second time and was the same both times. Will stick to the others in range, but definitely going to skip this one in future!

Almost as good as the four seasons.

You do have to move a few pieces of topping about if the pizza has been delivered on its side, as it almost always is. If cooked as described on the pack I have never found it turning out soggy. It's better than most pizza delivery pizzas, and much cheaper.

If you need your bacon crispy, this is not the pizza for you! Even when the pizza is overcooked the bacon remains limp, raw tasting and a bit gross... Maybe it should be cooked first?

very nice pizza

I really enjoyed this pizza, the bacon didnt have that usual twang you sometimes get on other pizzas and the mascarpone was the best part

firm favourite

my boyfriend loves pizza and we order this all time. we really enjoy the mix of bacon, mushrooms and cheese and haven't really noticed the garlic being too overpowering.
