I buy these regulary
For some reason a scotch egg made with free range egg and british pork seems to be a rarity. Other supermarkets use cheap danish pork of dubious origin and battery farmed eggs. Not these! I have had better scotch eggs and in fact make my own but for sheer convenience and value for money these are pretty good.

best scotch egg at ocado
I agree about forgetting the big cumberland scotch eggs----they taste awful. These ordinary scotch eggs are head and shoulders above them----the best that Ocado do ---tho it must be said that Ocado need to find a MUCH better range of a product which is universally eaten and enjoyed, especially in Summer-----a gap in the Ocado range here. These Scotch Eggs are the only "real ones" they provide for sale.

Very good
Forget about the much more expensive Cumberland scotch eggs, which are rubbish, and buy these instead. They are full of flavour and the sausagemeat is not at all rubbery or damp. Very good value.

VERY TASTY
These scotch eggs are very tasty and great for a mid-morning snack as very filling. Nice fresh egg and tasty sausagemeat too
