Thin steak (approx 10mm), medium steak (approx 15mm), thick steak (approx 23mm). A fine silky texture and rich marbling gives sirloin steak its robust flavour and perfect juicy tenderness , making it one of the most popular steaks.Waitrose Aberdeen Angus beef is produced from cattle sired by registered pedigree Aberdeen Angus bulls. The Aberdeen Angus is a native British breed, whose meat is naturally marbled with fat, making it exceptionally tender and full of flavour. The hindquarters are hung on the bone to mature it, so it becomes even more flavoursome and tender. Aberdeen Angus mince and burgers are also available from our prepacked assortment.

Never Again !
I ordered 4 thick cut steaks - all came at different thicknesses and cut in a wedge from back to front ! Looked dreadful and impossible to cook "properly" no matter how you like yours done. The "Butcher" responsible certainly lived up to his name. Rejected delivery - never again !

SO MUCH FAT - DISGUSTED
Never before have I been conned in weight with so much fat on a sirloin. Ocado you should be ashamed of yourselves ripping people off like that. Was almost half fat to meat. Disgrace.

Review title says it all - wish I had read the other reviews before I purchased. So much fat, so little meat and not exactly cheap.

A very poor fat to meat ratio
Too much fat , too little meat. I won't be buying anything else from the 'butcher' range. It's the same deal with the lamb leg cubes - too much fat, too little meat. Very disappointed.

Gristly, nasty
Ordered Thin cut, which turned out to be mostly fat and gristle -- not one totally edible bite in the entire steak. Even the dog wasn't so keen on it.
