Store in the fridge or remove from plastic bag and store in a cool dark place.
Prepare & Use
- To stop floury varieties like Rooster falling apart when boiling start them off in cold water and simmer gently or try steaming.
- These potatoes are extra tasty and extra healthy if cooked in their skins.
- Add a teaspoon of lemon juice or vinegar during boiling if blackening after cooking is a problem. This is a harmless reaction that occurs under certain soil conditions.

Poor
Thick skins & bland middles. I left the skins on to roast them - they were leathery & tasteless. A seasonal problem I am guessing...

Really good flavour and texture
We love potatoes and buy organic but sometimes find them bland - it's obviously not because they are grown organically, it's the variety, so I'm often a 'traitor' and buy non-organic. But these have a great flavour whether steamed, and they cook quickly, or roasted. Try roasting in olive oil, several cloves of garlic no need to peel and a couple of sprigs of Rosemary or Sage - delicious! If you slice them thickly they should be ready in about 35 mins.

odd taste
were not in the first flush of youth, ageing and unpleasant. Ocado should look at your shelf life!
