hit the spot
Yes, they're sweet but that's the point, isn't it? They meet a sweet/chocolate need and you don't immediately want to eat another one. Plus they are nicely chewy, have a decent amount of fibre and have fewer calories than a single hob-nob. And by the way, I do not have an unrefined palate...

Sickly
There is a strong smell of toffee-fugdey upon unwrapping this bar, which was slightly sickly, but I pressed on regardless! The look of the bar is quite dark and chocolately, and there is a neat squiggle of dark chocolate on the top as promised. The taste is too sweet, too toffee-ish and quite artificial to be honest. And it left me with a sugar-sore-throat afterwards. I've binned the rest of them an wouldn't recommend, unless you have a really sweet tooth and unrefined palate!!!
