Amaizin palm oil comes from existing plantations following the standards of ProForest. Our supplier is a pioneer of organic palm production. Since 1990 they have promoted sustainable organic practices by working to protect and preserve the rainforest. They work with the local families and farmers for improving income and contribute to the social and schools program in the region of Magdalena, Colombia. Also sponsoring the development of 2.000 ha. owned by cooperatives of small farmers. Palm oil has no trans fats and is a stable oil.
