Great standby

It may say eat in 3 days on the jar but I've kept these for months in the fridge to no apparent ill effect. Great to liven up tomato sauces, stews, pizzas, toasted cheese sandwiches

Didn't like these

These were sent instead of the tins, which I usually have. I found the anchovies difficult to get out of the jar, they fell to pieces and there's far too much oil.

Disappointing

Quite good taste but, as another reviewer has said, there's a lot of mushy stuff in the bottom of the jar, with tiny bits of anchovy as well. Therefore a fair amount of wastage. Keeps quite well though.

not so good

I have given a very favourable review to the anchovies in a small tin. These ones in a jar are not as good,indeed some were mushy,so if they only last 3 days once open,which I doubt,they don't have a lot to recommend them,other than that they taste ok.

Tasty, but how many can you eat in three days?

Bought thinking theyd stick around a while, but the label says they need eating within three days of opening. Otherwise very good.
