Great that they're using bamboo but...
I think it's great that the big players are trying to be more eco friendly. Can't think of anything worse than cutting down trees just for loo roll! I usually buy recycled but decided to give this a go. It's lovely and soft, but is very loose on the roll - perhaps so there's less of it? - and looks scruffy very quickly. It's also pretty expensive. Nice idea Andrex...but you're going to have to improve the product, and make it even more eco friendly before we buy this regularly. Back to recycled for now...

Eco product?
We bought this for the first time on special. We ended up using more than double the amount we normally do - the rolls are extremely loosely bound and flimsy. We go through this so quickly, I can't help thinking that this negates any eco credentials it might have. Won't be buying again.

strong, soft and super absorbent
I usually buy puppies on a roll but bought this paper when the other was out of stock. Have to say I am suitably impressed. Great to find a loo roll that uses sustainable bamboo in its makeup. It is soft and very strong and seems to be a lot more absorbent than standard loo roll so you need to use less of it. As a result I wouldn't worry about it having less sheets per roll....

The only recycled loo roll I can bear
Often buy this when it's on offer to salve my Eco-conscience! The 10% bamboo makes it noticeably softer than most recycled brands. I really like the packaging too.
