So happy to see this
Yes, it's a bit sad to be so excited about baking soda, or bicarb as it's called here, but as someone who grew up in the US this is one of the things I missed most when I moved over here. Like another reviewer said, you can use it to clean, disinfect and remove limescale as well as in baking. I also use it for a gentle facial exfoliant and it makes an amazing toothpaste as well!

There is no other baking soda
I completely agree with the previous reviewer. I grew up with this as well and I am super excited to see it available here. I know that my cakes are going to rise with this stuff, as I have never had the quite the results I expect from baking soda with the bicarb of soda I buy here. This stuff is da bomb.

Unbelievably useful stuff!
I'm so happy to see this is available now... growing up in the US, this was ubiquitous... it's brilliant for cleaning and deodorising almost anything in an eco friendly and non toxic way, as well as for cooking. Almost all fridges in America have an open pack of soda in it to absorb fridge smells... I know it sounds a bit sad to get so excited about baking soda, but seriously - google it, this stuff is amazing! Unblock drains, descale your kettle, freshen your shoes, reduce mildew on plants, clean burnt on food off pots... Finally, I can easily buy it in a big package.. Hooray for Ocado!

Non-US expat, but still love this stuff
I seem to be the first person who hasn't grown up with this to leave a review. However, I couldn't agree more. I bought it because of the box. Nothing more. The baking soda we usually get is in small round tubs and a right pain to get anything more than a teaspoon out of and doesn't last very long. It's a great carpet freshener. I sprinkle a whole box around the house once every few months and its like I had the carpets cleaned. Oh, and its also good for baking etc.....
