Own brand are better
If you can't be bothered to make your own... don't try these. They are dry and unexciting. The own brand ones in the brown bag are far superior.

floury and gluey
I normally buy the ownbrand frozen potatoes, but I gave these a whirl and I found them utterly horrid. They tasted like they had been somehow formed from a flour paste- gluey and solid. Ugh.
