Rock hard - had to throw away
I've had my share of bad avocados from Ocado, but these are the worst. Had difficulty even cutting them and they have now gone straight from rock hard to rotten. I appreciate that they are temperamental fruit, but this is pretty awful.

PERFECT AVOCADOS
I agree with everything Hantsmum says below. I have been buying these regularly for at least two years and have always been satisfied - they sometimes need a day or so to fully ripen, then I store in the fridge for up to a week until needed. They are a perfect single-portion size, which means no more leftovers to blacken during storage.

I don't understand!!
I buy these all the time, never had a single problem with them, they last a week in the fridge or a couple of days in the fruit bowl. Perfect taste and texture.....lovely!
Recipes
Parmesan, paprika and cornmeal chicken escalopes with French bean, avocado and cherry tomato salad
Everyone LOVES fried chicken, but when it’s been dusted in flour or dragged through a batter then deep fried it really isn’t a healthy option. I have got rid of the flour and made an uber tasty mix of cornmeal, parmesan cheese and smoked paprika. This makes a really crispy, gluten free crust. Then I shallow fry it. To serve I ditch the chips and make a healthy vibrant salad. By Sophie Michell

Smoked salmon and avocado rye toasts
Yes this is basically a toast recipe, the key is this; it’s using wheat free complex carbs in the form of the rye bread to keep you full longer. Then it is topped by omega three oil-rich smoked salmon and avocado, to give you a good portion of protein. By Sophie Michell

If you can wait 2 weeks to eat them
Thats fine but I have to agree with others on here they take an age to ripen and in fact 2 of them had gone completely black inside by the time they ripened. Put them in the sunshine, with a banana but still no luck - rock hard. The one I did eat tasted fine but not worth the wait, sorry
