Product Description
Barossa Shiraz is made in partnership with St Hallett Winery in Barossa, Australia. We have chosen to work with St Hallett because of their reputation for creating the finest quality Barossa Shiraz and their winemakers' enthusiastic and open-minded approach.
This wine has been made by blending selected parcels of fruit from Barossa Valley blocks for richness and Seppeltsfield for complexity, whilst some French oak maturation adds finesse. It displays fresh ripe raspberry and blackberry fruit, has a rich, smooth, velvety texture and subtle chocolatey vanilla oak influence.

Delicious
This is delicious. Aroma of blackberry, leather and violets. Very smooth on the palate, with lots of ripe berry fruit.

Crowd pleaser
This is a really great red to suit lots of tastes/foods. I always know people will be happy when it hits the table at dinner. It's delicious - don't be put off by it being own brand - I know a few wine snobs who drink it regularly.
Recipes
Sauerbraten
This recipe, with its unusual, richly spiced sauce, is based on a traditional German way of marinating and slow-cooking beef, so it’s extremely tender.

Excellent value
Very good. Subtle notes of red wine on the nose, and with a distinct red wine finish. In other words, ignore the tasting notes and drink it for enjoyment.
