Useful

I always ave a jar of this in the cupboard, whilst not a substitute for fresh garlic in every situation, it's handy for marinades, or spice pastes for meat or fish.

Not for garlic bread!

I've used this in cooking for years, v convenient, but having just tried it on it's own for garlic bread, it just wasn't garlicky enough and tasted slightly sweet - not right!
