Liquid
My jar contained only 'tamarind' liquid. Not like any Tamarind paste I have bought before . . . . .

convenient
Its not quite as good as the own brand from Waitrose but its a very passable alternative. Very convenient all the same.

strange, texture of jelly
I've used other brands of tamarind but none have been like jelly, didn't like texture, won't buy again
