So sharp! too many blackcurrants...
Blackcurrants 50%, raspberries 40%, bananas 10%... everyone's tastes are different, but I found this wickedly sharp, great as an addition to other things, but far too blackcurrant heavy to be useful on it's own in smoothies or compotes without a ton of sugar, which is not why I buy plain frozen fruit! So yes, 25% blackcurrants would be nice, add an lovely tang, but 50% completely overwhelms the other fruit. If you treat this as a delicious bag of frozen blackcurrants you can't go far wrong though, they are very nice even if it wasn't what I was expecting!

At last
fantastic Ocado stocking a frozen smoothie mix, not too many pips, good mix and great flavour!
Recipes
Granola Berry Mix
The granola provides fibre, and the addition of the natural sweeteness of the honey combined wit the low far cottage cheese makes this a tasty post-dinner snack.
2 mins
Berry Ice Cream
This is a great standby pud. Just keep a couple of packs of frozen mixed berries in the freezer and use a pot of yogurt from the fridge. Add Light at Heart - White to taste and a little cornflour to thicken the sauce and - hey presto - a yummy, scrummy (and healthy) dessert!

Lovely mix, very convenient
I was dubious about this mix before I bought it, but actually will definitely buy it again. Really handy to keep in the freezer. Contains enough to make several portions so not too expensive. Yes it has 50% blackcurrants but that is to my taste - I prefer it to be on the tart/tangy side. Very versatile to add to other things - fat free natural yoghurt, sprinkling of oats, juice of a tangerine, splash of milk or apple juice and in less than a couple of minutes you have a delicious fat free smoothie.
