Extra Vergine Olio Di Oliva
Made from the first pressing of olives, this is a well rounded oil with a full fruit flavour.
Nature's abundance of olives offer us a variety of different tastes and aromas.
Today, we carefully select quality olive oils, adhering to the same traditions
of passion and devotion to good food on which the Bertolli name was founded
in Lucca, Tuscany in 1865.
Bertolli Originate is a well-balanced extra virgin olive oil with a fruity taste
and pleasant aroma. It gives a generous hint of the Mediterranean to your recipes,
without overpowering other ingredients.
Olive oil should be stored with the cap tightly closed, out of direct sunlight.
The ideal storage temperature is around 20 degrees. Olive oil will turn cloudy at temperatures below 7 degrees centigrade. This does not harm the product in any way and the oil will become clear when the temperature rises.
Olive oil that is stored in a cruet set should be used within a few days, this should not be topped up with fresh oil as oxidised oil causes new oil to deteriorate.
