Product Description
Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2011
The village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape lies at the heart of the Southern Rhône vineyards. Here, the soils are completely hidden by large flat stones which radiate their stored heat during the night. The effect is grapes with very high natural sugars, full of concentration and depth. Further complexity is added by making the wine up from up to 13 different varieties. The results are, quite simply one of the world's most famous wines.
This is a food wine... warm, complex, spicy and peppery with powerful, long lasting layers of flavours.
14% Alc. Vol.

Poor quality especially for price
Compared to other wines on offer from the region, this is a pretty poor wine. Not recommended, even on offer!

Not worth the money, even on offer
tasted like an average wine, nothing special, was smooth though and made me tipsy. Wouldn't buy again so cannot recommend though would drink again.

Good when on offer
To the person who poured this wine down the sink - are you completely insane? This is a good wine at the offer price. I would recommend that you let it breathe for a few hours to develop the full flavour.
