Product Description

Bombay Sapphire Distilled London Dry Gin 40% vol 70cl
Distilled from 100% Grain Neutral Spirit from a 1761 recipe
The incomparable taste of Bombay Sapphire is the result of ten carefully selected botanical ingredients coupled with a unique distillation process.
Unlike some other gins, which 'boil' their botanicals together with the spirit, Bombay Sapphire distils its spirit alone. The spirit vapour from this distillation then gently passes through a copper basket containing the botanicals. This infuses the subtle aromatic flavours from each of the ten botanicals into the spirit vapour resulting in a crisp, delicately balanced taste.

Excellent mid-price gin

A lovely all rounder, on the subtler side, so perfect for a G & T. I find it hard to believe that people can actually dislike it. For a Martini, though, you have to splash out on the Tanqueray 10, it is unsurpassable.

stick to Gordons

hmmm, disappointing, nasty bitter, oily aftertaste, Gordons is a far superior product

classic gin, distinctive flavour

It's like earl grey, some people detest it, but others drink little else, I belong to the latter

Bombay, or Mumbai?

Probably the best Gins I have tried. I do think they should update the name to Mumbai, I think a lot of people havent given it a great review, as anything Indian, is seen as not quite great, yet like curry becomes, passively aggressive a sensation.

Yuck!

I thought I'd try this since it was on offer, but I really dislike it!
