Storage

Keep refrigerated below 5ºC. Once opened, consume within 2 days. Cool any leftovers to room temperature, refrigerate within 2 hours and consume within 2 days.
Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within one month. Defrost fully before use: do not refreeze once defrosted.

Prepare & Use


Shallow Fry - From Chilled
Preparation: Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw meat.
Conventional Oven 170°C 2-2 1/2 hours.
Fan Oven 150°C 2-2 1/2 hours.
Gas Oven 3 2-2 1/2 hour.
Remove all packaging. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick frying pan.
Add cubed meat and cook for 4-5 mins until browned. Add a selection of root vegetables and 200ml stock, bring to the boil.
Transfer to an ovenproof dish, cover and place in oven until thoroughly cooked, juices run clear and the meat is tender.

Quite nice.

I didnt find any gristle, nor was there too much sinew. Braising meat is often best cooked slowly over a low heat for a long period. If you cook on too high a heat, too quickly, youre going to have problems.

Perfect for stews

I was really impressed with this meat. Used it for a stew and it melted in the mouth after a few hours - delicious! Also very reasonably priced I thought. Just keep in mind it's not fillet and does need a bit of time to make it delicious! But if you give it some love, it rewards you big time!

Beautiful Beef

Gorgeous beef. Gotta be cooked long & slow obviously, but made a stunning stew after just 2 hours. Can't understand ppl criticising it- maybe trim couple of chunks, tastes marvellous, but a decent slow recipe would make even he blandest meat taste good no? Lazysaurus alert.

lovely

Reading some off what every one as put so I was in to minds to buy this but I am glad I did thing they changed it as it was lovely slow cooked it for 7 hours big pieces of beef not gristle and tasted beautiful
